False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses begin at NCV level two plus the bare minimum requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
